INTRODUCTION

Running away all the time is hard to do...

Each world has something that keeps the world’s balance in check with its presence alone. These balance keepers usually are in the form of people, although sometimes they are in the state of gas, liquid, plants and even mechanical machines in the technology-based worlds. They are commonly known as World Keys.
Most people don’t know about World Keys. And that’s a good thing. For what would happen if certain power hungry individuals killed or destroyed the Key? In their hopes of bending luck to their needs, they would instead have brought indescribable chaos to slowly engulf the world.
Out of those few who know about the World Keys, usually relatives and family, there are World Destroyers, people who seek out to get rid of the Key, for reasons unknown, whether they be personal, for the thrill of it, or other reasons that cannot be comprehended by innocent minds. So, the world is a dangerous place, especially so if the balance of the world depends on you.

In a world among worlds...
A World Key forever preserved in the form of a young child...
Helpless against those who want to kill him...
Except for the possession of one ability. The ability to appear non-existent to the most who don’t know them, whether it be by real name or the term World Key. All other references are nullified. Each Key has this ability, but whether they feel like using it is up to them.
He uses it though. He must, eternally condemned the way he is until he dies, whether a natural death or one administered painfully by the hands of a Destroyer. And he takes on an alias: Vital Survival. A name that appears to not be a name, but one that can be disguised in speech, an element he takes advantage of.
And Vital needs to rely on others to protect him. He cannot do it himself; his child’s body limits his could-have-been potential. Depending on others is risky though; who are World Destroyers and who are not?
A difficult life he leads.
One he did not choose.
Welcome to the life of Vital Survival.
